Elder Cheney Takes on Mexico (and Fresno)

Missionary work in quarantine looks very different these days!  For anyone who would like to, Dustin asked if we might pray with him at 7:30 each morning California time. The missionaries would appreciate prayers that they will be inspired in their attempts to share the Gospel in this new way of doing missionary work, and that they might be able to feel and share the joy of the Gospel and the love of our Heavenly Father with those they teach.  Thank you! Hola mis amigos! Another week has come and gone! Who knew that everyone was right? The mission really does go by fast. I will have 18 months in the mission this week! How crazy is that!?!  Well, sorry to tell you, but not much has changed. Haha we are still working hard with the circumstances that we have.  My comps birthday was this week, our bishop bought a whole bunch of food for us! I finally got a torta from a Mexican store. ALSO MEXICAN COKE! It's a thing people. It's so much better than the rest of the cokes. Try it, love it, adore it( just kidding don't do that last one).  This week something's happened and I really have been thinking about the atonement. How great is Jesus Christ? Isn't he the best?! He died for you! And you! And you! For everyone!  And did you know that His atonement covered everything we experience in our lives.  Don't restrict him! Don't turn away! Love Him! Read Alma 7:11-13.
