Elder Cheney Takes on Mexico (and Fresno)

Hello, Oh Hi President! Hola mis amigos!! Well another week has come and gone here in the sunny state of California. This week was pretty freaking crazy but also not at the same time. Haha so basically this week we tried to find people through Facebook and through the area book. We found some potentials.  One huge miracle is that Ana gave us a referral. Her name is Laura. We texted her and she responded right back saying yes! This is something that she really needed to hear! She feels that God has stopped listening. So we went full force atonement because she has some things from her past that she needs to let go. But she is super amazing I am hoping that she will stick with it. There are a lot of things that happened and I really can't remember I'm so sorry. Haha today was hard because in memory of memorial day my whole apartment of elder did the Murph challenge which is 1 mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 squats, and then another mile run. So I am pretty gasted.  But...

Hola mis amigos! Looks like we are here again! So last Tuesday I arrived here to Fresno California. When we got here I arrived with 15 other elders, all of us have about the same amount of time like 15 months in the mission field. We all came from different missions, me and one other guy came from mexico. We actually started our missions together, so I knew him. Then there were some from Peru, Paraguay, Costa Rica. So we were from all over the place. So president Mackay basically told us we aren't new so we just gotta get out there and start working. And 10 minutes later we were talking a picture and got into our cars. Yep that's right ladies and gentlemen we have cars! No more knee aches, blisters, or holes in my shoes. Ok well maybe who knows but I now have an air conditioned CAR! GOD IS GOOD!  I was told I am going to be finishing the training of my new companion, Elder Wilson. So I am again a "Dad" too.
