Elder Cheney Takes on Mexico (and Fresno)

Hola Mis Amigos! My president told us this, Tuxtla Gutierrez Mission aka TGM aka THE BEST MISSION, he also said this is where it happened. This is where the book of mormon happened. We are in Gods land. So basically I have a ton of work to do! Ok well this week has been freaking insane, lets just start with that. So last monday at 2 am my group going to Tuxtla left the CCM at 2 am to get to the airport. Our flight left at 6. When we got to Tuxtla we met President Doman and Hermana Doman. They are the absolute best!!!! I love them. They work so hard to porgress the work here.  I got assigned to my companion the next day and his name is Elder Fullmer he is from Utah or the fabrica as the latinos say, because all the mormons come from there. He is actually the Zone leader. Our president splits the zone leaders up and then assigns other missionaries to them. So i got really lucky and also got a lot of work because we have so much work here. My area is called Chahuit...

Hola Mis Amigos!!!!! How is everyone doing this week, sorry I didnt write last week my district went to the Temple again so i didnt really have much time. But I am on my last week here at the CCM !! I am so excited but also so freaked out that I am leaving to go out into the field in only 4 days. But either way i am just so ready to meet the people of Tuxtla. Since its the last week we have been getting a ton of information about travel plans and when we are leaving. But because of that I found that there is actually another Elder going to my mission with me! So that means there are 8 of us now, 4 gringos and 4 latinos! I leave for the airport on monday at 2 am and then my flight leaves at 630. Its coming so fast but I am so excited. These past few weeks have been pretty normal we doing classes for about 9 to 10 hours a day. Some of its spanish instruction and then teaching and gospel reviews. Hola Amigos!!!! Not a lot has happened since friday, but I do have some stories that are cool and funny. Ok first one, All of our Hermanas or Sisters in our district are going to go back the US when we are done in the CCM. SO we were just talking about all the food that we miss from the US. Me and Hermana Canals literally keep talking about french fries. All we freaking want is some fries. The food at the cafeteria is like good but nothing like homemade food and some of the restaurants in the states. I am just ready to leave the CCM and get some real homemade food. Haha so I really just want  some fries! The next one, during breakfast yesterday a guy came up to my companion and asked him where he got his pants. He then accused my companion of stealing his pants from the dryer! My whole district was sitting there just like confused! He just kept asking where he got his pants.
