Hola mis amigos, Wow I don't even know where to start. Well I come home this Wednesday at 3:45 pm. I will then be released from being a full time missionary. It's weird, I feel like I am suppose to stay here forever. But I know that my time is up and I need to leave. But it's been a week of emotions. Many testimonies, last goodbyes, final studies. I have truly come to love being a missionary even during the hard times.  This week we accomplished 16 lessons and tried finding even when there was rain nonstop for 3 days and we were in isolation. So basically all the odds were stacked against me in my final week. But I knew God was on my side so I worked as hard as I could, along with repenting when I knew I wasn't working hard. I left it all on the field.  Thank you to each of you that have supported me on my mission. And also for those you have read my emails I am thankful because honestly sometimes I feel like I'm writing to no one haha! But thank you for praying for...

Hola mis amigos! Well week 1 of the great Fresno quarantine is over (well tomorrow)! It was definitely a week for us!  We had service every single day this week. We can do service only if it is outside and we wear masks. So we trimmed trees, painted sheds, painted trim and picked lemons. So that was eventful. We taught all our lessons on zoom, we had about 11 lessons and they were all video calls. So that was a little hard not being able to be with the people we are teaching. But we were still able to feel the spirit.  One cool experience this week, a guy was cleaning our neighbor's gutters and then came and did ours (we live in a duplex so we are connected to our neighbors). He saw me through the window and waved. Then he knocked on the door and said he was a member but has been inactive for sometime. We talked a little more and he went on his way and we thought nothing if it. Then about 30 minutes later he knocked again. He was crying and said he needed a prayer. Him and his...

Hola mis amigos! Hello! Well all I can say is God has a sense of humor because I kept telling everyone that I am staying away from sick people. I am not getting covid before my last 2 weeks. I don't want to be quarantined my last two weeks of my mission. But God had a different idea, cause President told us all the mission is going into quarantine in preparations for transfers. So......... yeah my last 2 weeks I will be sitting in my apartment. Haha oh well we will still be working hard! But this week we have been just visiting members and saying goodbye cause this will be our last time to see people before I head to Fresno to go home. I end quarantine the day I leave. So it's been sad, crazy that the time has come. We were able to teach Neil the word of wisdom! He accepted it really well, had some questions about where it says things about coffee and tea. But we explained the importance of prayer and putting our faith in the lord. He is so awesome and getting ready for his bap...

Feliz Navidad!  Sorry not much time this week! But this week was really good! We had a ton of miracles!  We were able to meet with Kat and Neil. We actually gave their baby Ari a baby blessing with our bishop! We then extended a baptismal date and a wedding date. They are now praying to know if this is what they need to do! So please pray for them! We met with a member Sister Flores, we were able to teach her in Spanish. But her son Angel isn't baptized, she wants us to teach him and help him be baptized! We have also been doing the 12 days of Christmas for 4 families in our ward. And we have been dropping off things everyday. But let me tell you this! Some of those little kids just spy like no ones business. I hit the doorbell and booked it and they still opened the door before I got out of sight. It's super fun though! I hope y'all have a Merry Christmas! I love y'all so much! Have a great holiday. Remember the Christmas story and John 8:12, Jesus Christ is the light ...

Hola mis amigos! Hows it been? Haha sorry it's been a while! But for anyone fo you that are still following my mission story I thank you haha! It's been a crazy ride! And it doesnt stop there! So about 2 weeks ago, my comp and I were doing some work on the computers when we got a call from the President. He said he had a new assignment for me. I was like here we go again but I was excited! He told me that I was going to be opening a new area in the north of the mission but while training a new missionary! Who! Is learning spanish but we are assigned to a english area.......  Fast forward..... I picked up Elder Peine who is from Ohio. We had a great training from president, someone handed us some car keys and we got a address and 2 hours later we were at our house. Not knowing anyone, anywhere or anything. But with the grace of God we got to work. We started trying to get to know all the members. We started with the leaders and worked down.  It's been a great couple of weeks...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Hola mis queridos amigos! Oooh boy if you know me you know that I LOVE Christmas! It's the freaking best, best food, decorations, feeling, spirit! And most of all the reason why we celebrate, CHRIST!  These past few weeks have been awesome! Elder Peine and I have just been working super hard to find new people and to meet with the members and to help them. And it's even better during the Christmas season! Last year I missed the lights and weather, but this year I get it all! Yes Dad, I am cold...... even though its California. I am cold.  But anyway, cool story! We are sitting in our apartment, and we were doing companionship study when all of the sudden the missionary version of Santa shows up! The Zone leaders show up with all our packages from home. So it was a happy day! But I also got all our stuff for the 12 days of Christmas we are doing for 4 families in our area. I am just bouncing off the walls with excitement hahaha! N...
