Elder Cheney Takes on Mexico (and Fresno)

Hola mis Amigos!!! On monday I officially hit my half way mark in the MTC. It is so crazy to me that I am a missionary, I feel like I just got here. Who ever says that the weeks feel like days and the days feel like weeks. There are correct. Life in the MTC is the same we have classes for 9 to 10 hours a day they range from spanish instructions to gospel topics to actually teaching. My companion and started teaching two people, Giovani and Daniel, haha but they arent real people. They are our teachers acting as different people. But this week we were able to teach over 5 lessons all in spanish. Believe the Lord is blessing me because there is no way i could have done that two weeks ago.  Today, we were able to leave the CCM and take a bus to immigration to get our full visas. Honestly, that was the best thing ever because this compound sometimes feels like a prison. Hola Amigos!! I have officially been in the Mexico CCM (MTC) for a week and a day. It has been the best and longest week of my life.  Disclaimer, This keyboard is a spanish one so its hard to type and also I suck at english and its only been a week so yeah...... Last week I flew to Detroit and then to Mexico City I was really hoping there would be some other missionaries but there wasnt. So I was the only one of my flight. I then arrived and made it through customs and got picked up. OK! So driving in Mexico City is insane!!!! There is like no lanes and people just drive wherever they want, its was so scary but also so cool. The rest of the week we had classes and like I mean like a lot of classes. We have spanish classes, teaching, grammar, scripture study, workshops and more. We have about 9 or 10 hours of classes a day. Its crazy!!
