It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hola mis queridos amigos!

Oooh boy if you know me you know that I LOVE Christmas! It's the freaking best, best food, decorations, feeling, spirit! And most of all the reason why we celebrate, CHRIST!

These past few weeks have been awesome! Elder Peine and I have just been working super hard to find new people and to meet with the members and to help them. And it's even better during the Christmas season! Last year I missed the lights and weather, but this year I get it all! Yes Dad, I am cold...... even though its California. I am cold.

But anyway, cool story! We are sitting in our apartment, and we were doing companionship study when all of the sudden the missionary version of Santa shows up! The Zone leaders show up with all our packages from home. So it was a happy day! But I also got all our stuff for the 12 days of Christmas we are doing for 4 families in our area. I am just bouncing off the walls with excitement hahaha!

Now! The moment you're waiting for! THE MIRACLES! (We are still looking for more miracles....)
Kat and Neil! They are keeping commitments! They prayed together this week everyday. And they also took the sacrament today! We are planning on going over on Friday with the bishop to give their baby a blessing. We are hoping to put Neil on date for baptism this week!

We met with some super cool families this week! They have just blessing my life a ton because I have been able to feel their spirit every time we go into their home.

Its has arrived....I start my last transfer on my mission. It's so crazy to me. I am almost done. We received our transfer calls and I am staying in Salida and finishing the training of Elder Peine. Elder Peine doesn't let anyone forget I am in my last transfer so everyone knows...... but it doesn't mean I wont work just as hard.

I invite y'all to read Alma 7:11-13
Jesus Christ is the best. Just the best. He's my friend. I love him. Wanna talk about him?
I love talking about him!

Love,
Elder Cheney
