Hola Mis Amigos!!
How are yall doing!
This week was a missionary filled week!
We have been teaching a good amount of people. And its amazing!!!! I love being a missionary!
This week-
1. We taught Patricia, she is a 28 year mom. She loves the church. She reads all our pamphlets and the chapters we give her in the book of mormon! She is amazing!! She is amazing!
2. A 2 year old almost peed on me. Here mexicans are not scared of their bodies. Haha. So we were in a lesson and their nephew comes over and just whips it out and starts peeing hahaha. I just couldnt stop laughing!
3. A dog followed us for two cities of walking! About 2 miles! 1 dog! There are hundreds of dogs here. but this one dog followed us. we named her Amber, I tried giving her a book of mormon. Haha
4. A member gave us hot dogs this week and I legit almost cried. And I ate 4 hot dogs even though we had two lunch appointments that day.
5. Mission goal this month is over 300 hundred baptisms. So please pray for us and these amazing people of Tuxtla. I have learned that these people are so humbled and so prepared for the gospel. Tengo FE!!!!!!
Also we had a multizone conference with our mission president and a guy from the missionary department. There were 3 zones, all of the zones from the city of Tuxtla. they talked about what our purpose it, which is to baptize. But to baptize through the sprit of God by preaching the gospel. NOT TEACHING. We are not here to teach, we are here to preach. We are missionaries and called of God.
One scripture that I really liked this week was Alma 56:45-48. I dont have it in english, but i am a missionary so i invite you all to read this. But it is about the striplings warriors. And even though they are young they had strength and had faith in God. And as missionaries and members we need this faith too. We are fighting to the death but we are fighting to save our brothers and sisters! Also it had a verse about listening to your mom. So mom I apologize that I didn't listen to you sometimes! YOU'RE THE BEST!!!
HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO MY DAD AND GRANDPAS!!!!
