QUE HONDA!!!

How are ya'll doing?

This week was amazing!!!! LIKE AMAZING!!!

Here are some highlights:
1. I finished the book of Mosiah!! I love that book so much, it has so many amazing helpful tips!!!
2. Had interviews with presidente Doman this week. It was great!!! He is such a spiritual man, our meetings are about 8 hours with him haha. 
3. WE ATE CHICKEN WINGS THIS WEEK!!!! I think I ate more than 30 chicken wings!!
4. To explain the title, we have a couple, Karina and Rigoberto, who aren't married. But we asked them if they want to be baptized and be married and they said yes. BUT WE TOLD HIM TO PROPOSE!!!! HE DID IT RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF US!!!! Me and my comp had rings that a member gave us the day before and we gave them to use for the rings. We were blessed from God to have those rings.
5. We visited waterfalls called Chiflon today, they were so amazing!! They are about 900 meters tall waterfalls. We got super close and got drenched, but it was the coolest thing ever!!! 
6. Went on visits with Presidente Doman, at 9 oclock at night. HE WAS SO POWERFUL.
7. Had great lessons with Mayra and Marcos this week, we also found like 8 more people to teach. 
8. Thanked God for the creations he has given us!

I was reading in Mosiah 26 and I loved this part:
18 Yea, blessed is this people who are willing to bear my aname; for in my bname shall they be called; and they are mine.
19 And because thou hast inquired of me concerning the transgressor, thou art blessed.
20 Thou art my servant; and I covenant with thee that thou shalt have aeternal life; and thou shalt serve me and go forth in my name, and shalt gather together my sheep.
Even though I am a missionary and I am literally called as a servant. But this is for all members, we have taken the name of Christ upon us because we are his children. I love this so much because God BLESSES us with so much as his servants!!!

Hola Mis Amigos!!! Well this week was 100% better this week! We had so many miracles and it just makes me so thankful for Heavenly father and the blessings that he gives us!!! So we had a baptism this week! Hermano Manuel, he came to church about 4 times and he never had time to meet with us. But one time we met with him right after church and for a straight hour and a half he just talked. We didnt say anything. So that was fun haha! But then this tuesday we were trying to get in contact with him because we hadn't talked to him for a week, but his phone is really bad and he had work we thought. But he answered us!! He wanted to meet that night, but!!!!!!! We were walking through the park in our area and he walked right past us!!! He was looking for a job because he lost his, which was good and bad.......But we talked to him then and asked him if he wanted to be baptized in 5 days. HE SAID YES!!!!! Hola mis amigos! This what right after new years. Wow well this year has been a real interesting one now hasn't it. It sure feels like we have been through a couple spin cycles. But we made it right!  As I have looked back at this year I realize that I have learned and experienced a lot! Let's see the adventures of Elder Cheney this past year!!! Jan- Continued my streak of being transferred every 2 weeks in Mexico by getting 2 new areas!  Feb- Heard about Covid and starting hearing rumors Mar- Got the news I would be sent home April- got released and spent 6 weeks at home!  May- I was reassigned to the California Fresno mission!  June- learned how to a social media missionary as we were stuck in quarantine. July- Moved to Fresno and met many great people, and Martha got Baptized August- We began leaving our houses and began visiting people again September- I was able to serve and help so many people in Vineyards, moves, and yard work Oct.- We had Axels baptism! ...

  Soy comida para niños Hola Mis Amigos! Sorry for not emailing this past week! But honestly its been just a normal week of missionary work. So in my area we received a new set of missionaries! So Tuxtla Chico now has Elders and Sisters!!! So we spent some time looking for a house for the sisters and then spent some time moving them in, moving a full on fridge up a tiny stairwell is not the funnest thing. But I am now prepared to go back home and help the elders quorum.  This week we have been working really hard to find new people and also keep teaching, 1. ANA- SHE IS THE BEST!! She has been one of the best investigators that I have ever had. She has read the Book of Mormon until Alma, prayed for answers and received them! Then she has come to church like for two months!!!
